ANGUIRUS

Anguirus holds the title of the first monster to battle Godzilla. That fighting spirit and scrappy demeanor eventually earned the spiky, four-legged kaiju a place at Godzilla’s side as a trusted ally. Together, they’ve defended the Earth from extraterrestrial foes including King Ghidorah, Gigan, and Mechagodzilla.

Part ankylosaurus, part armadillo, Anguirus is known for its speed and maneuverability, able to slam its spiky armor against adversaries via a reverse leap attack. It's also capable of burrowing down and out of the ground to surprise opponents. Anguirus also has remarkable resistance to injury, surviving devastating stomps, tremendous falls, and even a direct blast from Godzilla’s heat ray.

In a universe of powerful kaiju, few are as steadfast and strong-willed as the one and only Anguirus.
